Canteen & Mid-Day Meal Facility at VIS Godhra
At VIS Godhra, we believe that a healthy body and a healthy mind begin with healthy food. We also recognise the importance of instilling values of gratitude and empathy in our students, especially in a world where a large section of the population still struggles for daily meals.
Guided by these principles, the school introduced the Breakfast and Mid-Day Meal initiative to ensure that every child receives wholesome, nutritious, and balanced food throughout the school day.
From the upcoming session, the school will be providing morning breakfast and lunch, thoughtfully planned under the guidance of a certified nutritionist. With this enhanced facility, students are not required to bring tiffin from home, ensuring uniformity in nutrition, hygiene, and food quality.
Our canteen operations follow strict safety and quality protocols:
- Nutritious & Hygienic Food: Meals are freshly prepared in a clean, well-monitored kitchen environment.
- Expert Staff: Experienced canteen and kitchen staff work under the direct supervision of the Administration Department to maintain high standards.
- Pre-Planned Menu: A pre-designed nutritious menu is displayed in advance, balancing taste with health.
- Student Preferences: Food choices and preferences of students are considered while planning meals.
- Care for Younger Students: Special attention is given to Pre-Primary and Primary students to ensure proper food intake.
- Healthy Food Policy: No aerated or unhealthy drinks are served on the campus, reinforcing our commitment to student well-being.
Through this initiative, VIS Godhra strives to support students’ physical growth, mental alertness, and overall well-being, fostering a healthier and more vibrant school community.
